Atoll where the capital of Tuvalu is located. The total area is 2.4㎢. The population in 2017 is 6320. The most urbanized island with Tuvalu's only airport, and shops, hotels, hospitals, banks, post offices, government offices, etc. Many people migrate from the outer islands, causing overpopulation problems.
