Beginning in the seventh month of pregnancy, the mother is provided with a nutritious meal by her family so that they can share in providing adequate nutrition for her baby. Traditionally, the mother is given coconut flesh, fish, and two drinking coconuts (teaoa pī).
妊娠7ヶ月の頃に始まる習慣で,家族は赤ちゃんに十分な栄養を共有できるよう、妊婦には栄養価の高い食事が用意される.伝統的慣習としては,ココナツの果肉と魚,2つの飲用ココナツ(teaoa pī)が与えられる.
