n. the skin on the upper surface of the midrib of a coconut frond
非常に丈夫で硬くちぎれにくいため，物を結んだり，籠を編んだりするのに用いる．ちぎれにくい反面縦に裂きやすいため，用途によって幅を調整できる．
very strong and hardly broken but easy to split along the fibers and adjust the width; used for weaving basket or binding something
