a very small, immature coconut fruit about the size of a ping-pong ball
利用されることは少ないが，実を潰して搾り出した液を，乳幼児のおむつかぶれのケアに用いることがある。また，子どもが地面に絵や文字を描くために用いたり，ココヤシの小葉の中肋（kautuāniu）を実に差し込んで，遊び道具にしたりすることもある．[参] kaleuto.
It is rarely used, but the liquid extracted by crushing the fruit is sometimes used to treat diaper rash in infants. Children may also use the fruit to draw pictures or letters on the ground, or make it into a toy by inserting the midrib of a coconut leaflet (kautuāniu) into the fruit. See also kaleuto.
